The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are currently on their annual summer tour of Wales, and yesterday they stopped by a special location – the studios where Dr Who is filmed.

Charles and Camilla visited the BBC Roath Lock Studios in Porth Teigr, Cardiff Bay. They were given a tour of the set by the show’s current stars: the Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith (whose run as the Doctor will come to an end during the 2013 Christmas special), and Jenna Coleman.

During their visit, Prince Charles and Camilla were able to test out the Tardis, meet some Daleks and the Prince was even given the opportunity to record the Daleks’ trademark catchphrase, “Exterminate.”

The Prince and Duchess still have another two days of their Wales tour.
