Lady Diana Frances Spencer was born July 1, 1961. Diana was born into one of the oldest families in the UK and was the fourth child of five.

Princess Diana was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales. The couple married on July 29, 1981 and the wedding was watched by over 700 million people worldwide. Princess Diana had two sons with Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry.

During her marriage, Princess of Wales took up a wide range of official duties and charities. Prince Charles and Princess Diana divorced on August 28, 1996. After the divorce, Diana was still regarded as a member of the royal family.

Diana lost her life in a fatal car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997.

    Who can forget the heart-warming thing HM Elizabeth, II, said, upon learning of Diana’s death? She said: “Secure the jewels!”

    Her death was tragic, of course, but her loss was not. Diana was an uneducated girl who wasn’t too smart to begin with. Thank God Prince William married a well-educated and intelligent woman.

    She had two treasures: her sons and english people. But she didn´t take advantange of them.

    I am disappointed by the mean-spirited tone of some of these comments. None of us has lived a perfect life and I doubt that many of us have endured such public scrutiny.
