The aunt of Sweden’s King Carl Gustaf XVI fell in her Stockholm home Monday, and was rushed to the hospital.

The royal palace did not mention Princess Lilian’s injuries or where she is being treated, but said she is “doing well under the circumstances.”

The 93 year old Welsh born Lilian underwent hip surgery last summer, following another fall.

She met the King’s uncle, Prince Bertil, in London 1943 while working in a factory.

The princess takes part in numerous royal events, including the Nobel Prize ceremonies. She is patron to several organizations.
