Jordan’s King & Queen Travel To The United States & Peru

His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah left for a working visit to the United States and Peru on Friday.
During the visit to the Unites States, King Abdullah is scheduled to deliver a speech at the 67th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. He is also scheduled to meet a few world leaders and heads of participating delegations attending the United Nations General Assembly.
While in the United States, Queen Rania is one of the speakers at the Clinton Global Initiative 2012. It is unknown at this time if the King and Queen will have any other events on their agenda.
In Peru, King Abdullah is to deliver a speech at the 3rd Summit of South American-Arab Countries (ASPA) in Lima, the capital of Peru on October 1.
His Royal Highness Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein has been sworn in as Regent in front of the cabinet members in Amman, Jordan.
