On Monday September 10th, the newly redesigned Spanish Royal website — Casa de Su Majestad el Rey de España – Castellano — was launched.

Replacing the old outdated site had been rumoured for some time, and the new site has a more professional look with a lot more information, photos and features. The new site banner features Their Majesties the King and Queen, and the site has video links and updated profiles of members of the royal family.

The site is available in both Spanish and English and comes complete with a guest book!

One particular highlight is a new photo of the King, Prince of Asturias and Infanta Leonor, with the title “3 Generations, A Common Commitment.” The photo is both warm and striking, showing the King with his son, the future King Felipe, and the future Queen Regnant, Leonor. The photo was taken over the summer in the grounds of the Zarzuela Palace.
