Confirmation of Marius Borg Høiby
Today, September 2nd, 2012, Marius Borg Høiby was confirmed in Asker Church. He is the son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Morten Borg, and was born on January 13th, 1997, before the Crown Princess’ relationship with Crown Prince Haakon.
The families of both his mother and father were present at the confirmation, including also King Harald and Queen Sonja, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus as well as his maternal grandmother, Marit Tjessem.
The 14 confirmands arrived at 11 o’clock in traditional white robes and entered the church together. After an hour, they left the church with a red rose and gathered in front of the church, where they were congratulated and hugged by their family and friends.
Afterwards, Marius had probably lunch with his family at Skaugum, the Crown Prince Couple’s home.
