Nude Heels Only for the Royal Ladies at Garter Service
One could think that the dress code for shoes to the Order of the Garter service last week was nude heels, or was it just a coincidence?
The Duchess of Cornwall, the Duchess of Cambridge and the Countess of Wessex all turned up to the service in nude heels and, funny enough, in pastel-colored outfits. The three royal ladies heels all looked very similar, but they were slightly different.
Camilla’s heel was the lowest heel out of the three royal ladies, they were from Stuart Wietzman at Russell and Bromley; Catherine’s heels were her favourites from LK Bennett and Sophie’s heel had the highest platform out of the three ladies and they were from the famous shoemaker Jimmy Choo.
Recently Liz Jones wrote an article wondering if the Duchess of Cambridge had only one pair of shoes, the LK Bennett nude heels which cost £185. Liz Jones’s article came after the Duchess, for sometime, was only spotted at official events in those shoes.
After three royal ladies wore nude heels to one event, we can only wait to see what Liz Jones would write on it. “The Catherine effect of nude heels on the royal ladies” maybe?Filed under British Royals
