The Luxembourg Grand Ducal Court announced yesterday the schedule of wedding events for Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy.

The couple will marry in a civil ceremony on Friday October 19th, at 15:30 at the Luxembourg City Town Hall. A gala dinner will take place in the evening at the Grand Ducal Palace.

On Saturday October 20th, a religious ceremony will take place at 11:00. A reception will follow at 13:00 at the Grand Ducal Palace.

It was also announced last week that the Countess has been made an administrator of the Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse, the foundation created by Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. The Hereditary Grand Duke is also an administrator of the foundation.

  1. Lady Daphne says:

Another Royal Wedding!!! I hope they glam it up and open the vaults and air out those beautiful tiaras that languish so long hidden away. Can’t wait to see the bridal gown, veil, train, the whole bling fest.

  2. Anastasie says:

Let’s hope that a TV channel which can be seen in the French part of Switzerland will broadcast the celebrations… As far as I am concerned, comments may be in French, English or German, but any other language will do. The important thing is to be able to see !

  3. I wish the young couple , many years of good health and happiness and that together , they can continue to promote Peace in the World.
    Sincerely
    Maria

  4. The Grand Duchess Maria Teresa attended Marymount School where I am a graduate also, I certainly have followed her steps since her engagement and, thereafter. They make a lovely family and she is, besides making a great Grand Duchess, such a fine and charming, nobel and delightful lady who absolutely knew to gaine the respect of her people in Luxemburg. I would love to be able to follow the wedding pf their son next week.
PLEASE INFORM ME IF THERE IS A CHANCE TO SEE THE two WHOLE CEREMONIES (WHICH CHANNEL ETC.) HERE IN THE NERTHERLANDS WHERE I RESIDE.
    THANKS A LOT.
