Prince Jean of Luxembourg Weds
Grand Duke Henri’s younger brother, Prince Jean of Luxembourg, wed for the second time last Wednesday in Roermondm, Holland. The bride was Jean’s long-time partner, Diane de Guerre.
The civil wedding ceremony took place at the Roermondm City Hall, and was performed by the town’s Mayor, Mr H. van Beers. Relatives of the bride and groom attended the small ceremony, but the only member of the Luxembourg Grand Ducal family in attendance was the groom’s youngest brother Prince Guillaume.
The bride is the daughter of Countess Eugenie Marie de Guerre, who resides at the Hillenraad Castle in Holland’s south. Prince Jean was previously married to Hélène Vestur, from 1987 to 2004. The pair have four children together, whom reside in Paris with their mother.
