Infanta Pilar, Duchess of Badajoz in Seville

Her Royal Highness Infanta Pilar of Spain, Duchess of Badajoz attended the opening of the ‘Rastrillo Nuevo Futuro’ at Los Lebreros Melia Hotel on February 15, 2012 in Seville.
The elder sister of His Majesty the King is the Honorary President of this charitable foundatio, which is one the Infanta holds very dear. The opening started with a blessing by the Archbishop of Seville whom Infanta Pilar thanked in her brief opening speech.
Also in attendance were the Spanish Minister for Equality and Welfare and the Mayor of Seville.
Journalists at the event later quized the King’s sister on the ongoing controversy surrounding the Duke Consort of Palma and also on the recent book on the King and Queen by Pilar Eyre. The ‘Rastrillo Nuevo Futuro’ charity in Seville ran until February 18th.
