Princess Máxima Attends AmCham Gala
Last night, Monday January 23rd, Princess Máxima attended a gala dinner at the city hall in The Hague, to mark the anniversary of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands.
Accompanied by Prime Minister Mark Rutte, the Princess was one of 500 guests to attend the gala hosted by the Mayor of The Hague, The Honorable Jozias van Aartsen. Also present were naturally the Dutch Ambassador to the United States, Mrs Renée Bos-Jones, and the United States Embassy in the Netherlands’ Chargé d’Affaires, Mr Ned Nolan, and the Ambassadors of Belgium, Canada and Mexico.
Princess Máxima wore a black and white ensemble for the gala, consisting of a black floor-length skirt paired with a high-necked white sleeveless top. She accessorised with pearl and diamond jewellery from the royal collection.
The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham for short) was founded in Holland in 1961, to “represent the interests of American investors in the Netherlands.” Today, over 400 companies work to promote friendly trade between the Netherlands and the United States of America.
