Haakon and Mette-Marit in Mexico – Day 1

Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit of Norway arrived in Mexico City on 15th of march.
The official programme of the royal couple started on 16 March.
On their first day the crown princely couple lay a wreath at the National Monument Ninos Heroes, payed a visit to the Frida Kahlo Museum and were welcomed by at Los Pinos by President Calderon.
The Crown Prince and his wife are received by Mexican President, Felipe Calderon and his wife first lady Margarita Zavala at the official residence Los Pinos in Mexico City.
Afterwards the Crown Prince and Crown Princess opened a photo exhibition at Reforma in Chapultepec Park.
The crown princely couple will stay in Mexico until march 19th.
