Infanta Pilar Launches ‘Rastrillo Nuevo Futuro’ 2011
On November 14th, HRH Infanta Pilar of Spain, Duchess of Badajoz launched The ‘Rastrillo Nuevo Futuro’ 2011 at the Telefonica Store in Madrid. The elder sister of His Majesty The King is the Honorary President of charitable partnership which was founded in 1968.
The Nuevo Futuro/New Futures is a partnership dedicated to the creation and maintenance of foster homes for children deprived of the family environment (children who are orphaned, deprived ect). The Infanta took over this charity from her late mother, HRH The Countess of Barcelona. The Duchess of Badajoz was assisted at the launch by Prince Luis Alfonso de Borbon and his wife, Princess María Margarita.
On Friday November 18th, Infanta Pilar attended the opening of the ‘Rastrillo Nuevo Futuro 2011’ at the Casa de Campo in Madrid. The King’s sister later posed for photos with other volunteers and gave several interviews.
