Felipe & Letizia’s Visit to London

Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Asturias paid a visit to London on November 7th to attend a gala dinner to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom. The one-day visit saw the Prince and Princess attend several events in London.
The Prince and Princess’ first port of call was a visit the ‘World Travel Market’ International Tourism Fair at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London. Following that, Their Royal Highnesses presided over a luncheon with executives from the major British Tour operators represented in the Spanish Tourism market.
After the luncheon, the Prince arrived at the the Spanish-British Economic Forum which was organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in the United Kingdom. The Forum was also attended by representatives from both the British and Spanish governments. Later, Prince Felipe delivered a speech aimed at fostering economic growth between Spain and the United Kingdom.
The Prince and Princess of Asturias then presided over the delivery of the accreditation to the “Friends of the Mark Spain in the United Kingdom”. During the ceremony, the Prince and Princess presented several awards.
That evening, Their Royal Highnesses attended the gala dinner to celebrate the Spanish Chamber of Commerce’s 125th anniversary.
