Daniel’s Gala Debut

Daniel Westling’s “Debut Day” as a royal fiancé began at noon with Crown Princess Victoria’s name day celebrations, followed the gala banquet for representatives hosted by the King and Queen later that evening.

Daniel was in official attendance as King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia welcomed 160 representatives of the Swedish diplomatic corps, parliament and goverment, authorities, culture, sport and industry; along with representatives of American science at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

The welcoming took place in the Vita Havet room of the Palace, with dinner following in the Karl XI Gallery.
