Mohammed speaks at Education Forum

His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai said at the Global Education Forum (GEF) organised by the Ministry of Education Investment in education is a priority for the UAE leadership in development plans based on developing human capabilities and expertise.

“The UAE government spends around 23 per cent of the 2009 federal budget on education,” Shaikh Mohammad said as he received the ministers of education and undersecretaries of ministries of education of Arab countries who are taking part in the Global Education Forum.

Attending Sheikh Mohammeds speech was Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, and a few minsiters.
