Princess Rym Ali Receives the Ischia Award

HRH Princess Rym Ali of Jordan received on Saturday the Ischia International Journalism Award during a gala celebrated at Piazza del Soccorso in the island of Ischia, Naples (Italy).

Princess Rym (née Brahimi) worked as journalism for BBC World Service, Dubai TV, Bloomberg International, Radio Montecarlo, Moyen Orient and CNN before her marriage with Prince Ali bin Al Hussein in September 2004.

Her Highness is the founder of the Jordan the Media Institute (JMI), a non-profit organization aimed at the institution of an Arab Centre of Excellence for Journalism, which also includes a master’s degree.

The Ischia International Journalism Award was founded in 1980 by Giuseppe Valentino and is one of the most important Italian journalism awards.
