His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended on Saturday the poetry evening that featured the recital of poems by Dubai’s Crown Prince, HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The poems of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed and Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed delighted the audience as they were enriched with value of patriotism, national pride and bravery as well as their romantic aesthetic expression.

A large gathering of 3000 people packed the Rashid Hall at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event is part of the Dubai International Poetry Festival, a unique literary gala that brings poets from around the world into one city.
