A boy for prince Aimone and princess Olga of Savoy-Aosta
Today prince Aimone of Savoy, duke of Puglie and princess Olga of Greece became the proud parents of a baby boy named Umberto. The boy is named after Italy’s last king, Umberto II. Prince Aimone and his father the duke of Aosta are involved in a dynastic dispute with the son of Umberto, prince Vittorio Emanuele of Savoy about who is the rightful claimant to the Italian throne.
Prince Aimone and princess Olga married in a civil ceremony at the Italian embassy in Moscow on 16 September 2008. Their religious wedding was eleven days later at the Greek island of Patmos.Greek Royals, Italian Royals
