The Royal Forums reaches 1.000.000 posts
There are 2 more major milestones coming up, we are a few thousand members short of 50.000 members, and next year, TRF will celebrate it’s 10th anniversary. Stay tuned for more information about this amazing milestone.
History of The Royal Forums
TRF started out as LesTribunesRoyales. It is unknown when the forum went online, but October 4, 2002, is usually named as the day the forums were launched.
The Royal Forums over the years
Over the years, TRF has grown. It is now not only seen as an forum for enthusiastics, but also as a serious Royal source. TRF has often been cited in the press and with the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton around the corner the TRF team of Admins and Super Moderators has been receiving many requests from journalists.
TRF and it’s lay-out
Very recently, the old lay-out of TRF was changed to a Royal shade of blue. The forums are now divided in the newly named “Royal Highlights“, (previously “Other Things Royal”) which includes the sub-forums “General Royal Discussion“, “Royal Weddings“, “Royal Jewels“, “Royal House of Fashion“, “Royal Library” and “Royal Genealogy“. The latter one has a new sub-forum called “Royal Milestones“, which started in 2011 and lists the Royal and Noble engagements, weddings, pregnancies, births and deaths of 2011. The other sub-forums are the main sub-forums “Reigning Houses“ and “Non-Reigning Houses” and finally, we have the “Members’ Corner“.
10 years TRF.
Next year, TRF will celebrate it’s 10th anniversary. We as the TRF team do not want to let this slide by without some kind of celebration. I will not give away anything just yet, but stay tuned to both the blog and the forums.
TRF exists because of it’s members. So, thank you and we hope to see the posts go up into the direction of 2.000.000 posts.Filed under The Royal Forums
