As Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, HH Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser met with the Director of the British Library Dame Lynne Brindley at the Savoy Hotel in London.

During the meeting, they discussed the historical manuscripts project which is in the framework of the existing partnership between the British Library and Qatar Foundation. After the meeting, Dame Lynne Brindley presented Sheikha Mozah with a set of copies of digitized historical documents which were dating back to 1763. The documents are related to political, economic and social relations between the British Empire and the rulers of the Gulf in that era. The documents come as a gift from the British Library to Qatar Foundation.

Later that day, HH Sheikha Mozah chaired the fifth meeting of the Silatech Board of Trustees in her capacity as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Silatech Foundation. The meeting went over the achievements of Silatech in 2010 and discussed the programs and partnerships that have planned to be completed for the year 2011-2012.
