UNICEF’s Executive Director Highlights Huge Impact of Madrasati
Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met with United Nations Children’s Fund’s (UNICEF) Executive Director, Ann M. Veneman, on Tuesday. Ms Veneman is visiting Jordan as part of her tour in the region. During the meeting, Ms Veneman briefed Her Majesty about her visit to the Tumader School for Girls which is one of Madrasati’s schools. They also discussed ways to expand UNICEF projects in Jordan.
Queen Rania who is a UNICEF’s Eminent Advocate for Children, commended UNICEF’s relentless efforts to promote women’s and children’s rights, especially with regards to their social welfare.
