Sometime over the past two weeks, the Danish Crown Princely Couple took their four children on their annual winter vacation in Verbier, Switzerland. The family was joined by close family friends, Peter and Caroline Heering, with their two daughters.

While Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary’s two-month old twins are too young to hop on a pair of skis, Danish magazine Billed Bladet reported that this year Princess Isabella, the couple’s almost-four year old daughter, has begun to learn to ski. “Is it fun to ski, Isabella?” the reporter asked the little Princess, who responded with a shy “Jahh.” Prince Frederik clearly has a case of ‘proud papa’, telling the reporter that Isabella was good at skiing. Isabella’s older brother, five-year-old Prince Christian, also attends ski-school whilst the family is in Verbier.

The two newest members of the Royal Family were not spotted outside, which is unsurprising due to their young age. Prince Frederik revealed that his wife stayed with the twins most of the day, because they need her more than him. Princess Mary, however, found time to pop outside with her elder children, snapping some photos for the family album of Princess Isabella’s first vacation on skis.
