HRH Princess Lalla Khadija of Morocco, the second child and only daughter of King Mohammed and Princess Lalla Salma, celebrated her 4th birthday on February 28, 2011.

To celebrate her birthday, a picture of the Princess, her parents and her older brother, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, was released. If you wish to view a HQ version of the picture, follow the link on the right and scroll down.

Back in 2007, on the day of her birth, Moroccans all over the kingdom celebrated by signing guest books for the royal family. There were also 21 cannon rounds fired throughout the cities and towns in the Kingdom. The King granted a Royal pardon to almost 9000 prisoners while the sentences of over 24000 prisoners were reduced. The royal family arranged receptions for people who had children on the same day and at those receptions, these people were given presents and gifts.

Princess Lalla Khadija has been seen at her father’s side for a number of engagements already.
