Crown Prince Frederik receives District Heating Association’s “Dane of the Year” Appointment

HRH Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark has received the District Heating Association’s “Dane of the Year” appointment in Frederik’s VIII Palace, Amalienborg, on November 22, 2010.

In addition to the renevation of the new home of the Crown Princely family, district heating was made possible.

District heating is more efficient in energy then many other energy generators and the family of four, soon to be six, will have a heating bill that will be about 17% lower then if distric heating wasn’t applied and they can turn the heating on and off by computer.
