Qatar Emir in Sudan for Talks

HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir held talks in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

The two leaders talked about relations between the two countries and means of bolstering them, in addition to Arab and international developments of mutual concern. After the talks, HH the Emir attended a luncheon banquet hosted in his honour by the Sudanese president.

The talks where attended by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani and members of the official delegation accompanying the Emir.

Later that evening, the Emir left Khartoum after a one-day working visit to Sudan. President Bashir saw off the Emir and his accompanying delegation.
