Dutch Crown Prince Couple meets Dutch Prime Minister

On November 10, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima had a meeting with the new Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, at Villa Eikenhorst.

The new Prime Minister was invited by the royal couple for an introductory visit.

Rutte was received previously by Queen Beatrix on October 14th at Huis ten Bosch, the day he officially became the Dutch Prime Minister. Queen Beatrix then received the new cabinet.

    Could this be the beginnings of talks about talks aboiut the expected abdication of the Queen? Will Rutte become King Willem IV’s first prime minister?
