To start of the visit to Finland they meet with the President of the Republic, Tarja Halonen, and her husband, Dr Pentti Arajarvi, at Mantyniemi, the official residence of the President. They then went on to make smoothies with pupils at Tiirismaa High School. The students were divided into two leagues who had Victoria and Daniel as captains. They had to make smoothies with the recipe of a chef from Ă…land Island. In the evening, the royal couple attended a banquet at the Presidential Palace.

The second day saw them visit the Happi Youth Centre, then it was on to the city hall in Helsinki, where people could see them wave from the balcony. Then they watched the opening of a seminar on the future of Finnish-Swedish business at the Hanasaari Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre.

Now, the couple have moved on to another 3 day visit to Norrbotten.
