State Visit from Qatar to the UK

His Highness The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and his Consort, Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al-Missned, have accepted an invitation of HM The Queen to pay a state visit to the United Kingdom which starts today, Tuesday 26 October, and runs to Thursday 28 October 2010.

The Emir and his consort will stay at Windsor Castle during the visit. Before meeting with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh in Windsor today, the Qatar royals will be met by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall. The Emir and his consort will enjoy a carriage procession through the town to Windsor Castle with the Queen.

During the trip, the Qatar royals are scheduled to visit a few historical sites and hold a few political meetings as well as signing partnerships and agreements.

    It was a wonderful sight in Windsor. The Carriage Procession. The British are the best in the World that is for sure when it comes to this type of thing. I seem to think they do not know just how good they are !!

    Nice to see a Muslim,, country portrayed in a friendly way. It would be nice to see them visit some local Mosques & Muslim schools to give the British Muslim community a boost, after what has been a very difficult few years, for them.

    I am from & Irish Roman Catholic Family & I remember what is was like in the days when the Irish were blowing up London. We were all consider terrorists!
    Lets have More visits from friendly Muslim country.

    why is there no Media coverage of this?
