So Welcome to Spetses – Relax and Enjoy!

Under a hot Tuesday evening in Spetses, Prince Nikolaos and Tatiana Blatnik held a cocktail party for their wedding guests, an informal event where most of European royalty was present, the only exceptions were the Royal Houses of Luxembourg, Monaco and Belgium.

At this relaxed party, where everybody seemed to have a lot fun, according to a Greek channel, the couple gave the guests a small gift bag and inside there was a t-shirt with a traditional ship, a CD with a photo of the lovely couple in the cover and a notebook with the wedding program and a small personal note:

“Dear friends, we would like to thank you for traveling from near and far to celebrate our wedding with us. We have a lot of beautiful memories from Spetses island and we hope you get your own. So welcome to Spetses, relax and enjoy.”

“Relax and enjoy” was exactly what everybody did! While the older generation enjoyed a dinner at Porto Heli, held by King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie, the young royals stayed at Spetses to have fun in a bar-restaurant, where Prince Philipos showed his dance skills, in a zeimbekiko, in honour of his brother, Nikolaos. However, the beautiful bride decided to stay in so to rest and get ready for the big day!

After the party and the last night as single, the Greek and the Spanish Royal Families stayed at the property owned by King Constantine in Porto Heli, while the other guests stayed at the Poseidonion Hotel, everyone getting ready to celebrate a beautiful wedding on a hot summer day.
