Prince Rashid bin Al Hassan of Jordan Engaged to Zeina Shaban
The Royal Hashemite Court announced the engagement of King Abdullah II’s cousin, HRH Prince Rashid bin Al Hassan, to Jordanian gymnast and table tennis player, Miss Zeina Shaban, on July 3rd.
The Knot Tie took place at the bride’s parents home in the presence of the groom’s parents, Prince Hassan and Princess Sarvath, King Abdullah II, Prince Faisal bin al Hussein and members of the Shaban family.
Prince Rashid, the youngest child and only son of Prince Hassan bin Talal and Princess Sarvath Al Hassan’s four children, was born on May 20th, 1979. He graduated from the University of Cambridge and is now serving in the Jordanian army.
His 22 year-old bride Zeina Shaban is the daughter of Mr Mohammed Abdullah Shaban. She was named Jordan’s top athlete for 2003 and represented her country in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.
