Queen Rania visits JRF Projects and launches “Madrasati Phase III”

During the last days, HM Queen Rania of Jordan carried out several activities related to the Jordan River Foundation and her own school renovation initiative “Madrasati”.

The Queen started her tour two days ago by opening of Ghor Al Mazraa Park and checking a map that showcases the Jordan River Foundation’s work in the area. Accompanied by government ministers, she visited a primary school in Southern Ghor, checking on the various projects funded by the Jordan MOP and implemented in coordination with the Jordan River Foundation (JRF).

Today, Queen Rania launched “Madrasati Phase III” which will renovate an additional 100 schools in several areas of the Kingdom. In her speech, HM talked about the importance of education for the Jordanian youth and the challenges which are facing Jordan. The director of Madrasati, Dana Dijani, said that Madrasati has so far reached 115,000 students in 200 schools. The Queen also met with Madrasati phase III top sponsors. This event was attended by Prime Minister Samir Rifai and various other ministers.
