Her Majesty Queen Rania attended the launch of the Youth: Work Jordan (YWJ) programme, which is an initiative to support the long-term development of young Jordanians. Launched under the Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania, the program is a community-based initiative which is aimed at improving livelihoods and bridging the gap with the labour market by providing life, technical and entrepreneurial skills to young Jordanians.

Queen Rania and about 300 participants representing the government, the private sector and the NGO community were shown a short documentary film about the programme which highligted challenges facing young Jordanians across the Kingdom. After the documentary, Queen Rania interacted with participants and NGOs in four “model-community neighbourhood booths”.
