King and Queen of Jordan attended WEF
King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan attended the World Economic Forum 2010 in Davos, Switherland, which took place during 28-31 January. During the forum, managed by Fareed Rafiq Zakaria of the CNN, Jordan’s King said, “Jordan will not accept the replacement of the Israeli army in the West Bank by a Jordanian Army,” and he added that the solution is two-states living, and that if this is not possible the alternative is a one bi-national state for the Palestinians and the Israelis.
Queen Rania took part during a panel discussion ‘Rebuilding Education for the 21st Century’ and she attended the first meeting of the Advisory Board “2015: Women and Expo”.
Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania also met with Klaus Schwab, WEF founder and executive chairman, and his wife and discussed cooperation between Jordan and the forum.
