Haakon and Marius attend Benefit Concert for Haiti
On January 24th 2010 Crown Prince Haakon and Marius Borg Hoiby attended a benefit concert for earthquake victims in Haiti at the Opera in Oslo.
Prince Haakon was impressed by the spirit of voluntary work and told the newspaper VG that he was deeply affected by the pictures showing the destructions and misery in Haiti.
The concert in the Opera House was sold out and more then 700,000 $ have been collected.
The money will be divided between the Red Cross, Norwegian Church Aid, UNICEF and the Norwegian Refugee Council.
