Thai People Celebrate Queen’s 77th Birthday

The world’s longest serving consort of a monarch, HM Queen Sirikit of Thailand, celebrates her 77th birthday today. Several festivels will today will mark the Queen’s Birthday throughout Phuket.

A mothers and daughters fashion show entitled ‘My mom is beautiful’, candle-lighting ceremony later this evening and Phuket Rajabhat University will host a variety of activities.

August 12 is also marked as Mother’s Day in Thailand.
