I have liked her recent outfits, right back to the summer photo shoot. She seems to have favoured stronger lines in her outfits and more monotone colours, which I think works well for her.

It’s a very attractive dress. More autumnal than summer, but the climate in the UK has been pretty cold and unseasonable in parts this week.

I find this blazer and floral skirt a little frumpy. The skirt print may be pretty but it’s too full and doesn’t work with the jacket.

The pictures and videos show that this has been a thoughtful, moving and well staged commemoration. But it is always those veterans who are still able to attend which provide a grounded and unique perspective on events of that day. There are so few years left for which this will be the case.
